The Dog Phantom Models for CT and X-Ray allow veterinary students to gain realistic training experience with this dog simulator with a non-contrast agent. The CT/X-ray phantom dog models feature life-like tissue contrasts when x-ray imaging is used.
The bones and soft tissue are displayed with some anatomical accuracy, allowing for realistic CT values. The values for all tissues are at 120kVp tube voltage. The calibration of the CT values can be easily adjusted to fit will other tube voltages, e.g 100kVp.
The phantom canine has air spaces which are filled with around -80 Hounsfield units of cellulose polymer composite.
This Dog Phantom Models for CT and X-Ray are part of our comprehensive product range of veterinary trainers.
