This Nerves Model set C40 / 1000232 represents the basic structures of the human nervous system. Each section depicts a coloured relief model of the main synapse variations. The sections attach to the illustrated base magnetically. The nerve physiology sections included are:
- Neuron Cell Body (Model 1000233 / C40/1) including cell organelles, with mitochondria and many other characteristics of human cell visible through a removable transparent cover. The edge of the cell body also shows the synapses of connected neurons.
