A life size adult skull model made in the UK from a specially formulated plastic which simulates the look and feel of real bone. This material allows reproduction of fine anatomical detail for detailed study.
The skull model is horizontally sectioned with removable vault and jaw, and the mandible with full dentition is articulated and is removable. The vault lifts to expose all the internal features of the cranium. The separate skull bones are clearly shown and the exact moulding distinguishes such detail as the fine bones of the nasal concha, internal carotid artery canal and full size styloid processes.
The adult skull model comes with a key card that lists the anatomical features shown including foramina, nerve grooves etc. A good choice of anatomy model where detailed inspection of the anatomical features of the skull bones is required.
